The community is prominent by its cluster of business centres along the street, especially on the main street, the Fairmount Drive.Arcadia also offers a number of restaurants and hotels within the area. Due to its active and vibrant nature, it is awarded as the 2nd best community by the Avenue Calgary magazine in 2013. It also houses Calgary’s largest high school, the Lord Beaverbrook High School.
