The Auburn Bay House is located on the sandy shores of the beautiful lake, with boat launches, park space, shelters for having picnics, tennis and basketball courts, and the previously mentioned beach. Inside the facility, residents will be able to enjoy a variety of great rooms, including a gymnasium, multipurpose rooms, a big hall, and access to a variety of programs for recreational activities, including tennis, paddle boarding, dance classes, hockey, yoga and much more.Auburn Bay is home to over 5,000+ houses, the community has 15 playgrounds, Auburn station commercial mall, many walking and biking trails, two fields for diamond sports, two big soccer fields, the 43 acre lake, and two pond spaces. In 2012, the community of Auburn Bay census results reported a population just under 7,200. Auburn Bay Transit is served by various bus routes throughout the community, including the #14, 406, 468 and 302 routes which provide public transportation passengers access to the rest of the city including commuting options into the downtown core. Crime rates in Auburn Bay have been reported as being lower than average (within the city) giving the community a reputation of being considered safe, with most of the crimes reported being petty vehicle theft and breaking and entering crimes.
