The community of Britannia was Established in 1956, Britannia is an inner city residential community that set a record sale price of over $6,000,000 in 2002. The city of Calgary has designated Britannia as a community of significance for its city-wide symbolic value in 2010. The neighbourhood’s historic value roots after World War II as it is the first community planned by the City of Calgary and noted as the first comprehensive neighbourhood unit. 2018 Home Sale Statistics in Britannia

According to our local research and Calgary Real Estate Board data, we saw some interesting statistics for the community. In total there were only 15 single family detached homes that were sold in total, the average price of these homes landed right around the $2.2 million dollar mark, and on average these homes remained on the market just over 75 days before they sold. There was a total of 2 condominiums that sold, the average price of these was just over $220,000 and on average remained on the market for 26 days less than single family homes at 50 days.
