Eau Claire literally means clear water. It is situated nearly in downtown of Calgary, and the Bow River on its south. The neighbourhood originated from a reclaimed industrial land until was named Eau Claire Lumber Company thereafter. It is a good combination of natural, industrial and residential community. In addition, within Eau Claire is the city’s Festival District, and also near The Prince’s Island making it as one of Calgary’s most prominent area.
