Kingsland Real Estate Statistics
Established in 1957, it is a residential neighbourhood situated to the north of Glenmore Trail, Macleod Trail to the east, Heritage Drive to the south and Elbow Drive to the west. Among the first occupants of the community were said to be the family of Albert Fowler when they immigrated from England during 1912 and built their home in the Kingsland area. With Kingsland being a fairly centrally located community in Calgary, residents in this community will have incredible access to a variety of major routes from Macleod trail to Glenmore, and Deerfoot, Southland Drive, and Heritage all being within or right nearby. You'll find a couple LRT stations very close, with Heritage station being under 1km away, making this a highly desirable community for those who commute to the downtown core for work, or Flames fans who hop in the C-train to catch a hockey game. On average you're just a quick 15 minute drive to the downtown core, and closer to 15-30 minute commute in peak traffic times.
