The northern central community of Tuxedo or Tuxedo Park, which is often called, is an older community not far from downtown Calgary. The tuxedo actually extends to the northeast / northwestern quadrant and is north of 16 Ave NW to 32 Ave NW, between 2 St. NW on the west side, through Center Street, which runs right in the middle, to the Edmonton Trail NE.

Tuxedo is popular with young professionals because it is only three kilometers from the city center. This is an older city in the city where houses from the 1930s and 40s provided space for beautiful new homes to fill 25-foot land.

About Tuxedo Real Estate 

As an older quarter, Tuxedo has a very large tenant population. Only 37% of all apartments are single-family homes, with cottages and apartments constituting the majority. The average selling price in Tuxedo is between $ 685,000 and $ 720,000, reflecting the high real estate value in the city.

The condos, which are mostly new, cost between $ 335,000 and $ 370,000. During this period of aggressive reconstruction in Tuxedo, builders were legally required to maintain or replace older trees to keep the shady streets of this older community intact.

Tuxedo Park is an urban area between 32nd Avenue North and 16th Avenue North in the south and north and south on the Edmonton Trail and Second Street NE in the east and west. Center Street runs right in the middle of the grid, which is made in a grid. Houses for sale in Tuxedo are very diverse and unique because they come. There are bungalows, condo complexes, townhouses, new semi-detached houses and large executive fillers.

This established township began in 1929 when Calgary was very young. It is one of the oldest cities in the city and has a small population of almost 5,000. The neighborhood is bustling with many modern and varied shops and restaurants along the Edmonton Trail. This makes Tuxedo Park the right candidate for renovation and investment.

The Tuxedo property is close to many major public transportation options. Twelve schools serve the area, two of which are senior high schools. Crescent Heights is the second largest secondary school in the city, while James Fowler is also densely populated. If you are looking for an urban vacation within minutes of the city center with the facilities and amenities you would expect in any downtown community, then Tuxedo is the obvious choice. This is a gem of a city in the heart of Northeastern Calgary.
