Yesterday during the RE/MAX First awards ceremony we had the privilege of hearing first hand, how these donations have helped local families and the impacts they’ve made, and that inspired us even more. Our goal was to raise $10,000 this year and were already getting close to that mark! So we’ve upped our goal, and are committed to putting our money where the miracles are, by bringing in $25,000 for the children’s miracle network this year! Through every transaction our team does we donate a portion of our commissions to the CMN!

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) lays out a plan to make the housing market affordable for all Canadians with a target date of 2030!

Recently the CMHC made some exciting announcements, and today we're putting a particular emphasis and focus on the new changes and upcoming plans to assist buyers emerging into the housing market and to provide an affordable home for all Canadians by 2030. 

The first thing to bear in mind is that these are not set nor solid plans, there could be changes, and there are factors including help from the government as well as the economy that will eventually see out whether this is a highly ambitious goal and it's ability to be achieved.

Submitting a Lowball Offer in the Calgary Real Estate Market 

 

There are a lot of scenarios in the current real estate market where a seller may face one of the more frustrating scenarios in the sale of their home, and that's the lowball offer. Re/Max Canada recently ran a study where they polled their large database of Facebook followers, where they asked buyers what their buying and bidding strategy would look like, 75% of polled / voting users responded by saying that they would "bid low!"
